We’re seeking a Quantitative Researcher Intern with a strong background in data analysis, telemetry, and behavioral measurement. The ideal candidate is pursuing a graduate degree (PhD preferred) in human-computer interaction, behavioral science, software engineering, or a related field, and has experience working with large-scale data, and event schemas.
This intern will support initiatives to evaluate Critical User Journeys (CUJs) by translating user workflows into measurable events, analyzing behavioral data, and identifying success, failure, and drop-off points. They will partner closely with data scientists and other researchers to connect telemetry insights to user intent and experience, helping to inform product strategy and design.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be enrolled in a full-time Doctorate Degree program in a relevant field (e.g., data science, statistics, behavioral science) during the academic term immediately before their internship.
Must have at least one semester or term of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with telemetry, event schemas, and behavioral data analysis.
Skills in querying large datasets (e.g., SQL, KQL) and using data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
Ability to map user journeys and identify key moments of success or friction.
Storytelling and synthesis skills to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX researchers, designers, and product managers.
