Job Description
System Engineer I - Intern
Department: Information & Technology
Job Summary: A key contributor to our Helpdesk support team providing phone, application and server support for Conner Strong & Buckelew employees. The position will provide Level 1 and 2 phone support as well as work with and maintain Windows Server, Exchange 2010 and Virtual environment.
Principal Responsibilities
- Provides primary support for helpdesk requests.
- Responsible for the helpdesk activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported problems.
- Ensure that all phases of helpdesk support are coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, resolved and escalated as appropriate.
- Troubleshoot hardware, application and server issues, including but not limited to, network or local printer problems, and peripheral problems.
- Provide support to internal employees resolving user issues with specific software applications, including Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and other industry specific applications.
- Works with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Citrix monitoring remote users.
- Other duties which may be assigned

- Assist with IT projects as needed
- Some travel in New Jersey, Delaware and Philadelphia area as needed
Requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook experience required
- Team Player, Self-motivated with strong problem solving and customer service orientation required
- Good verbal and written communication skills a must
Working Conditions
Office environment with moderate noise level; Able to work flexible hours and travel to other Conner Strong buildings and client work sites when needed.
Effective June 1st 2026, the pay rate for this role is $25 per hour.
