MACHINING INTERN

 This position will assist the Machine shop personnel with producing parts.

•         Support machine shop to help achieve Bedford’s Key Goals
•         Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications
•         Operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders to produce parts
•         Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job
•         Maintains specifications by taking measurements with proper measuring devices
•         Troubleshoot equipment
•         Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance
•         Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
•         Remove and process 3D print parts
•         Other duties as assigned

ENGINEERING INTERN

This position will assist the Engineering team with research, planning, development, testing and design of manufacturing equipment.

•          Assist the Engineering team as assigned with research, planning, development, testing and design of manufacturing equipment

•          Assist the Engineering team with development and testing of new products.

•          Learn and become efficient with the company and engineering software (Microsoft Office, Autodesk and Minitab)

•          Assist with product quality

•          Assist in creation and editing of production procedures and machine manuals

•          Other duties as assigned

MACHINING INTERN

•       Pursuing a degree/certification in Machining
•       Ability to work both independently and with a team on projects
•      Intermediate math skills
•     Attention to detail
•      Ability to problem solve and use resources
•     Works in an office and production environment
•      Must be able to lift at least 40lbs
•      Monday-Friday

ENGINEERING INTERN

•      Pursuing a degree/certification in an Engineering field
• Ability to communicate professionally

•      Bachelor’s degree candidate in Engineering field
•      Ability to work both independently and with Engineering team on projects
•      Ability to problem solve and use resources
• Works in an office and production environment
• Must be able to lift at least 40lbs
• Monday-Friday
