*This is an in-office, nine-week summer internship in Overland Park, KS from June 1 through July 31, 2026, and is for incoming college juniors or seniors. The pay is $22 an hour. Ad Astra does not provide relocation/ housing services.

POSITION SUMMARY 

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic intern with a background in data and business analysis to join our team and help us with pricing and marketing data analysis. The ideal candidate demonstrates high attention to detail, excellent time, and task management skills, and is highly organized.   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead end-to-end analytics projects: working with business stakeholders to formulate questions, source and analyze data, and translate your findings into actionable recommendations.  
  • Assist in developing pricing strategy by collecting and organizing data from RFPs and other sources 
  • Analyze marketing program data to attribute revenue and calculate ROI 
  • Other duties as assigned 

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week (in person)   
  • An inquisitive, open mind and the ability to troubleshoot, utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to solve business problems.      
  • Effective presentation and research skills.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams in a fast-paced environment and can organize time accordingly.  
  • Excellent attention to detail; handles constructive feedback; ability to meet deadlines; willingness to continually improve.  
  • Incoming Junior or Senior pursuing a BA/BS degree in Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics, or similar degree from an accredited colleges/university.  
  • At a minimum intermediate level with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word  
  • Background and experience in writing SQL queries a plus
