The Experiential Therapist Intern develops and evaluates experiential therapy programming across various treatment areas. They will establish therapeutic rapport with patient groups and complete necessary documentation.
This internship is for students enrolled in or recently graduated from a BS/BA degree program, preferably in art, music, dance, recreation, or other therapies. The Experiential Therapist Intern will develop, plan, implement, facilitate, direct and evaluate experiential therapy programming in all specialized treatment areas and should have a working knowledge of the psychosocial functioning of patient/resident groups. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to establish a therapeutic rapport with patient/resident groups.
