Qualifications
We are looking for a skilled Echo Technologist to perform ultrasound diagnostic tests, including 2-D/Doppler/Colorflow ultrasound, transesophageal echo, and stress Echos. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred), knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and registration through ARDMS or CCI (or secure it within 18 months of hire). Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Make a Difference
The Echo Technologist provides ultrasound diagnostic tests for patients per physician orders
• Performs 2-D/Doppler/Colorflow ultrasound, as directed by physician.
• Performs transesophageal echo, stress Echos and contrast Echos.
• Schedules patients and explains procedures.
• Positions patients and selects appropriate transducer.
• Maintains equipment.
• Orders and stocks ultrasound supplies.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to pinpoint area of imaging
• Skills in operating ultrasound equipment
• Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with patients and medical staff
• Ability to adapt easily and appropriately apply guidelines and procedures
• Demonstrate teamwork and strong communication skill
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• License: Must be registered through ARDMS or CCI. For those without Echo registration upon entering the job, they must secure Echo registration within 18 months of entering the job.
