Job Overview
We are seeking a Summer 2026 Energy and Utilities Intern to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As an Energy and Utilities Intern, you join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs.  This opportunity will be located in our Chicago, IL office and could have potential to be hybrid depending on the specific client, project and team needs.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Manager in various data entry and tracking duties
  • Assist Program team in project delivery, reviewing schedules and budgets
  • Participate in project meetings as well as department meetings
  • Collaborate with other project team members and learn the E&U industry
  • Provide Supervisor with weekly updates on job responsibilities
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Project/Construction Management, or Project Engineering from an accredited university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
  • Have good to great organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior internship experience
