POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Junior Scheduler, you will support our Ethanol Trading Desk by helping coordinate the transportation and delivery of ethanol products. This entry-level role is designed for recent college graduates who are eager to learn about logistics, supply chain management, and the energy industry. You’ll work closely with experienced team members and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with scheduling and tracking shipments of ethanol by truck, rail, and barge.
• Help maintain inventory records and support resource allocation across storage locations.
• Prepare and organize documentation for shipments, including bills of lading and export paperwork.
• Communicate with logistics providers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support forecasting and planning activities by gathering and updating data.
• Help resolve basic issues or questions from customers and partners, escalating complex matters to senior staff.
• Learn to analyze trends in demand, transit times, and costs, with guidance from senior schedulers.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to build your knowledge and skills.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (any major; business, supply chain, or related fields preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
