The ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in a Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering program at an ABET-accredited university, with a preference for candidates who have completed 3 years toward their degree and have a 3.0+ GPA.

HDR is looking for a Structural Intern candidate to join our Building Engineering Services Business Group in Walnut Creek, CA or Folsom, CA. The structural design projects this individual will support include a variety of market sectors: Technology, Corporate/Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal.
As a structural intern at HDR, you will work with a team of licensed structural engineers, engineers in training, and BIM designers on different project types and with diverse professionals. Our goal will be to engage you in all facets of our work so that you will gain a better understanding of how your coursework is applied in real-world settings and inspire you to engage in a career in structural engineering upon graduation.
