Job Description

Product Management Internship (Fuel Cells & Fuel)

Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Term: May 18, 2026- August 7, 2026

Position Summary

Plug Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The student will be responsible for assisting in a wide variety of initiatives and projects with the Product Management Commercial and Strategy team in support of your academic studies and interests. In this role, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced financial, commercial, manufacturing and engineering environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug’s products.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform market research and sizing for select fuel cell products
  • Create a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) tool for the Low Power and High-Power Fuel Cell products utilizing existing subscription forecasted power pricing data
  • Evaluate financial metrics associated with existing and new technology for these products
  • Ad hoc requests that result in additional financial analysis or research on Fuel Cells, Fuel, or Energy industry products
  • Assist in driving company priorities and development of projects/targets for the engineering team
  • Gain a foundational understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in manufacturing and technology.

  • Develop effective communication skills by collaborating with team members and presenting findings to different stakeholders.

Education and Qualification

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master's in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related program
  • Must have reliable transportation to the office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent follow-through 
  • Must be driven and self-motivated

Estimated Base Salary Range:

$21.00 - $25.00
