ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate records of received shipments, discrepancies, and damages, and report issues to management. 
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of received inventory within the warehouse. 
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory control, to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes. 
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, as needed. 
  • Improve efficiency in the receiving department by implementing the best practices and process improvements. 
  • Assist in conducting cycle counts and physical inventory audits as required.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment. 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus. 
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
