SUMMARY:
Intern – Vendor Oversight Team (Healthcare) As an Intern on the Medicare Advantage Vendor Oversight Team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the management and evaluation of third-party vendors critical to healthcare operations. You will assist with the development of vendor contracts and maintaining oversight of vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies and healthcare regulations.
This role is ideal for students interested in healthcare administration, business operations, or supply chain management. You’ll develop professional skills in communication, project management, and problem-solving, while learning how a healthcare organization collaborates with external partners to deliver quality care.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist with monitoring and evaluating third-party vendor performance to ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, and healthcare regulations.
Support the development and review of vendor contracts and related documentation.
Track vendor activities and performance metrics using company software applications.
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding vendor processes, performance, and compliance.
Assist with data analysis and reporting to support vendor oversight initiatives.
Help maintain accurate documentation and records related to vendor management.
Participate in special projects that contribute to the team’s mission of maintaining high standards for vendor quality and service.
Proofread and review documents for accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Prepares and delivers presentation(s) on assigned topic(s).
Attends unit, departmental, and corporate meetings as assigned.
EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE: Currently enrolled and active in any educational degree program that aligns with our various businesses.
EXPERIENCE: With proper education credentials no experience necessary. Previous work experience preferred.

Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate’s skills and professional experience, geographic location, market and other potential factors. It is not standard practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between $18 and $33.
