Description
Position starts at $17.00 with annual merit increases and production bonuses. SUMMARY
Maintains, prepares, and tests all computer related (including laptop, tablet, and PC’s) for sale at a retail store and online sales by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important.
Provides testing, diagnosis, problem solving and prepares all donated computer equipment for sale by refurbishing parts and building computer systems.
Sorts computer donations and determines appropriateness for sales, refurbishing or recycling.
Researches market value of computer, game, and electronic equipment, prices computer hardware and software.
Maintains product flow to sales floor.
Ensures computer work area is neat and organized.
Answers questions from customers and assists customers with computer shopping needs.
Processes customer transactions by ringing the sale on a cash register, collecting payment, making change, bagging the merchandise and thanking the customer.
Reports known or suspected security and or theft problems to Store Manager or other member of management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.
