Job Description

SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a Test Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to play a key role in the testing function within a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. This position involves design, analysis, and testing of advanced radar systems. Will consider continuing internship into the Fall semester. What You'll Do 
  • Develop Software Tools: Create low-level software to support test development and improve testing efficiency
  • Analyze and Validate: Gather and correlate data, perform analysis, and validate test stations to ensure functionality and compliance
  • Collaborate: Work closely with peers and managers to align on goals and deliverables
  • Document and Support: Ensure test designs and documentation meet product specifications and deadlines
  • Deliver Results: Draw conclusions and provide recommendations fully supported by test results
  • Maintain Standards: Ensure accuracy of measurements and traceability to international calibration standards
  • Record and Organize: Document test results and maintain records in configuration management systems
  • Troubleshoot: Identify root causes of product failures and document processes and findings 
What You'll Bring 
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or similar degrees
  • Completion of at least two years of college
  • Technical Skills:
    • Software experience with tools such as LabVIEW, Matlab, or Python
    • Knowledge of hardware systems, including RF equipment, power systems, and digital components
  • Soft Skills:
    • Creativity and resourcefulness
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects

  • Knowledge of NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with software or hardware testing tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on innovation

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $22.00 to $26.00/hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
