Description

Join the team at Atlanta Autism Center! We’re hiring full-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) at our Flowery Branch location.

As an RBT, you will:

  • Provide ABA therapy in 1:1 or small group settings
  • Implement skill acquisition programs and individualized treatment plans with precision
  • Execute behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans accurately
  • Maintain precise client records, including data sheets, graphs, daily notes, and anecdotal information
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for clients
  • Collaborate with clients' families and other professionals on updates, progress, and behavioral concerns
  • Adhere to company policies and uphold BACB ethical guidelines in all ABA interventions
  • Report incidents of abuse/neglect immediately and help train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to clients and their families
  • Participate in staff training and commit to ongoing professional development and performance improvement

Work Environment:

  • 100% Center-Based
  • On-site supervision by a BCBA

Pay:

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Starting Pay & Growth Opportunities:

  • Starting base rate: $22/hour
  • Earn an additional $1 per hour after 9 months and 12 months, reaching $24/hour after your first year
  • Opportunities to advance to RBT 2 and RBT 3, each offering an additional $1/hour
  • With these opportunities, you can earn up to $26/hour within your first year!

Requirements

  • Current/Valid RBT Certificate
  • H.S. Diploma/GED required; Bachelors, or associate’s degree in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred
  • Relevant experience preferred
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry patients
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills
  • Desire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instruction
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members
  • Computer skills
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders required
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning and sanitizing all equipment, surfaces, and supplies
