Position: Engineering Intern

Location: La Grange Park, Illinois

Duration:  Paid, Full-time, 10-week summer program

Pay: $20.00/hour

    Develop PLC programs in Studio5000 software.
  • 
    Develop HMI programs with FactoryTalk View software.
  • 
    Gain a basic understanding of 3D design utilizing SolidWorks.

    Obtain experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing control systems.
  • 
    Acquire control system onsite startup and commissioning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of the electrical construction industry.

• Learn the basics of controls, automation, and project engineering through a comprehensive 10-week structured program.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and across various departments.

• Possess good listening skills, follow instructions and communicate effectively.

• Utilize software and technology tools efficiently (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program or a related field.

• Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing in college.

• Solid academic record (minimum GPA of 3.2).

• Strong math aptitude skills.

• Effective communicator with both verbal and written skills.

• A keen interest in building a career within the construction industry.
