Job Description

The Bethesda Foundation seeks qualified candidates for internship.
This position reports to the Vice-President Foundation Operations and provides direct support for communications and donor engagement strategies and Foundation special events that benefit Bethesda Hospitals, Hospice of Cincinnati and Fernside – all part of the TriHealth system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Work with Foundation team to support strategic initiatives of Engagement, Annual Giving, Stewardship and donor database integrity.
•    Provide direct support to Foundation events to provide superior donor/guest experience.
•    Contribute to Foundation events by securing community level donations.
•    Facilitate donor thank you/stewardship touches.
•    Perform general fundraising duties as assigned.
 

This position serves as a short-term staff assistant in the assigned area with the goal of gaining knowledge of and business expertise in the subject matter area. The ranges of duties may include but are not limited to: administrative, clerical, research and analysis, service support, and clinical service and/or support. Applicability of each of these types of duties will depend on the service line, business unit, or functional area in which the intern works. The objective is to provide a practical cooperative learning experience for someone in a student role who has interest in the healthcare field.

Job Requirements:

Some High School required - Does not require a Degree Achieved, Currently enrolled in an approved program for specific field of study in a related field (Preferred)
Up to 1 year experience in a related field (Preferred)
Excellent communication and organization skills 
Ability to work in a professional business environment 
Willingness to follow instructions and learn about functional area where assigned
