Global Supply Chain Intern (6-Month program)

The Job You Will Perform:

Global Cellulose Fiber’s (GCF) Supply Chain Organization offers a six-month internship program running from January through June. This full-time position (Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week) provides hands-on experience in transportation procurement across key functional areas, including truck, intermodal, ocean, rail, and warehousing. In addition to core responsibilities, interns will gain exposure to the broader GCF business and have opportunities to job shadow professionals in various departments, fostering a well-rounded understanding of our global operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the transportation procurement and operations team with daily responsibilities, ad-hoc assignments, data analytics/visualization and various projects to meet and exceed team objectives
  • Prepare, analyze and distribute multiple daily/monthly reports
  • Interface with the GCF supply chain to include manufacturing locations (Mills), carriers, internal stakeholders and other interns
  • Participate in team assignments and activities with other Supply Chain Interns

Compensation

  • GCF offers a competitive salary paid bi-weekly and paid holidays for interns

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

  • Junior or Senior, working toward a Bachelor’s degree (prefer Business, Supply Chain or Logistics related majors)
  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft Access, Tableau and Power BI/Data Visualization tools experience a plus
