Job Description

The North America team is seeking a Grain Technical Service Intern for our Assumption, IL location for the Summer of 2026. This is a paid, full-time internship during the summer. Students are required to work 40 hours per week onsite at our office from tentatively Wednesday, May 27th through Friday, July 31st (dependent upon summer housing dates, could start earlier and/or end later).

Your Impact

As a Grain Technical Services Intern you will be responsible for providing grain equipment technical and design support for our customers and dealers that include:

  • Diagnosing problems they are experiencing
  • Explaining the operation of the product
  • Finding parts and/or part numbers customer is looking for
  • Helping with new site startups including testing all installed GSI equipment, programming controls, and training customers on how to use their equipment/products.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a degree program such as Ag Systems Technology, Agricultural Engineering or a related field
  • Must be registered as a full-time student
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • Understanding of wiring schematics preferred
  • Grain production experience preferred
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, as well as work effectively in a team environment

Your Compensation and Benefits

Expected hourly wage for this role will be $20 – 22 / hour. This is dependent upon year in school.

Benefits will include complimentary housing located at The Woods apartment complex at Millikin University in Decatur, IL.
