Job Description

Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.

We’re looking for dedicated students who share our passion for ground-breaking technology and want to create a lasting future for you and Snowflake.

Build with Data. Think with AI. Learn with Leaders.

Snowflake’s Data, Analytics & AI (DAA) team is opening paid internship roles for Summer 2026. This is an opportunity to work alongside the team that builds AI-ready data foundations, designs enterprise-grade AI systems, and pioneers how organizations transform with data.

If you love big questions, clean architecture, sharp thinking, and a team that expects you to run with real responsibility, this is the place.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Paid, full-time internships in the heart of the software industry

  • Post-internship career opportunities (full-time and/or additional internships)

  • Exposure to a fast-paced, fun and inclusive culture

  • A chance to work with world-class experts on challenging projects

  • Opportunity to provide meaningful contributions to a real system used by customers

  • High level of access to supervisors (manager and mentor), detailed direction without micromanagement, feedback throughout your internship, and a final evaluation

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship

  • Desired Class Level: Undergraduate, Masters, or PHD Students

  • Desired majors: Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics, or Similar Fields

  • Start Date: May 11th, May 26th or June 22nd

  • Strong analytical and technical skills

  • Curiosity about how great organizations build with AI

  • A bias for action

  • Integrity and attention to detail

  • Willingness to ask questions

Our interns work on meaningful problems that ship. You won’t sit in a corner polishing mock datasets. You’ll help build the systems that Snowflake uses every day.

You’ll learn from senior leaders, analytics engineers, product thinkers, data scientists, and AI builders across the company. We take mentorship seriously. It's how we were raised professionally, and we honor that tradition.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN / GAIN:

  • Enterprise data platforms

  • Semantic layers

  • Data quality, observability, and lineage

  • Operational and Go-to-Market AI agents

  • Analytics engineering practices

  • Snowflake’s AI offerings (e.g., Snowflake Intelligence, Cortex Search Services, Cortex Analyst)

  • Sigma, Streamlit, Python, SQL, dbt, and more

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Build semantic models and metrics layers

  • Develop curated datasets and dashboards using SQL, Python, and dbt

  • Translate ambiguous business needs into structured definitions

  • Support metric governance and the accuracy and performance of agentic workflows

  • Work closely with business partners across Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing

YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF:

  • You love the mix of technical thinking and business reasoning

  • You enjoy transforming messy inputs into clean, trusted outputs

  • You can explain analytical choices as clearly as you can implement them
