Job Purpose

The Foundation Intern will play a key role in supporting the fundraising, stewardship, and operational functions of the Bethany Children’s Health Center Foundation. This position provides hands-on experience in donor data management, donor engagement, and administrative support, while directly contributing to the mission of serving children with complex medical needs.

Work Schedule

20 hours per week with flexibility during Business hours Monday - Friday 8am- 4:30pm. This is a paid internship position for the 2026 Spring Semester that is onsite and is not eligible for remote work. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Verify addresses, review duplicates, complete missing fields, and enter new donor information from events, mail, online and in-kind giving.

Assist with preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and supporting Foundation events and campaigns.

Print, assemble, and mail donor acknowledgment letters; ensure timely and accurate stewardship touchpoints.

Assist with donor journey mapping, documenting processes and identifying engagement touchpoints.

Qualifications 

Education: 

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 

Experience: 

  • Previous administrative, office, or customer service experience preferred. 

  • Experience working with databases or data entry is a plus, but not required. 

  • Prior involvement in nonprofit, fundraising, or volunteer roles is helpful but not necessary.
