Tucson Subaru, a top-rated dealership recognized as Dealership of the Year and one of the leading Subaru dealerships in the nation, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Used Automotive Internal Advisor to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for vehicles and a strong understanding of the inner workings of a dealership's used car department.

As a Used Automotive Internal Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our used car sales team, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a high level of organization. Your responsibilities will include managing repair orders, assisting with trade-ins, and collaborating closely with both the used Automotive sales manager and recon manager to ensure the quality and presentation of our pre-owned vehicles.

Used Automotive Internal Service Advisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and close repair orders (ROs) for the used car department in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inspect trade-in vehicles each morning, assessing their condition and making necessary recommendations.
  • Write clear and engaging used car ads that highlight key features of each vehicle and attract potential buyers.
  • Work closely with the used car sales manager and recon manager to develop accurate repair estimates for vehicles in the used car inventory.
  • File paperwork related to vehicle transactions, repairs, and other used car department activities in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Maintain an organized and clutter-free work environment to ensure smooth daily operations within the used car department.

Qualifications


Used Automotive Internal Service Advisor Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an automotive environment is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the used car sales process and vehicle repairs is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
