Candidates should have working knowledge of medical office referrals, authorization processes, insurance verification, medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, registration requirements, and HIPAA regulatory requirements. Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office is also required.
