Internship Program Overview:
At Netsmart our internship program is called our "Futures Program" because we truly believe that you are our FUTURE. This program will be a 10- week program based at the Netsmart in Overland Park, Kansas. The FUTURES Program includes a balance between on-the-job learning, hands on client-based work, professional development opportunities, leadership exposure and several social/networking events throughout the summer. If you aren't local to the Kansas City Metro, are we will have housing options for you available (certain criteria will have to be met to qualify for housing).

Software Engineer Position Overview:
The Software Engineer’s responsibilities will center around developing the next generation of support and analytics tools for our solutions. Tenacity to learn new technologies, rapidly apply lessons learned and collaborate across the organization is fundamental to the team. Requirements:
Rising Junior or Rising Senior with expected graduation with bachelors or masters of December 2026, May 2027, December 2027, May 2028
Basic programming experience using a modern object-oriented language such as Java, C++, C#, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Demonstrates achievement in academics, internships, co-ops, or other work experience
Current student working toward BA/BS degree in computer science, IS, or IT is preferred
