Key Responsibilities:
Foster and assist in facilitating the intellectual and social development of our K-12 students and families
Implement best practices in childhood and family engagement
Facilitate social-emotional, child development learning programs
Provide therapeutic interventions for students with special needs
Collaborate with school leaders to support children and families
Document efficiently using electronic health records and school-based platforms
Engage in data-informed, evidence-based practices
Ideal Candidates Have:
Master’s Degree in Social Work
Certified or eligible for certification in Maryland and/or Washington DC at the LMSW or LCSW-C level
Hold or be eligible for a Social Worker certificate in Maryland and/or Washington DC (Can be applied for post-hire)
Certified or eligible for certification in crisis management.
Certified or eligible for certification in CPR/First Aide
Passion for working with children with diverse abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
