World Vision Internships provide a three-month opportunity for talented students and recent graduates eager to explore the international relief and development field. We’re dedicated to giving you a meaningful learning experience, where you’ll grow, gain valuable skills, and connect with other passionate professionals who share our mission.

Our internship program, which runs during the spring and summer, is designed to provide hands-on experience, impactful work, and professional development in a supportive environment. While we are not actively hiring for internships at this time, we are building a Talent Pool of students and recent graduates interested in future opportunities.

Location: This specific internship program requires candidates to work remotely within the US. Candidates must reside in one of the following states where World Vision is registered as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. If you are interested in pursuing other internship opportunities with another World Vision office, please find the office of interest and contact them directly.
Internship Cohort Dates: Spring (January–April), Summer (May–August).
Stipend: Unpaid internship with a monthly stipend of $800 for U.S.-based interns
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week)
Eligibility
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or F-1 visa holder with valid CPT or OPT authorization); although this is an unpaid internship, a stipend is provided, so appropriate work authorization and E-Verify eligibility are required.
Must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number.
Commit to at least 24 hours per week for the full internship period.
Be a current student or recent graduate (within 2 years) of an undergraduate or graduate program
Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
