This internship is for individuals at least 16 years of age and enrolled in an EEC program at their host school. Interns will assist the classroom Teacher and Program Director with the day to day functioning of the Child Care Program and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.

Family Service Association, headquartered in Fall River, offers a range of high-quality services to strengthen and support individuals and families and to address the social service needs of our very diverse and changing communities in southeastern Massachusetts. Offerings include an outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic, supports for older adults and those with disabilities, home assistance, before- and after-school child care, a child care and preschool program serving infants to children age 5, mentoring programs, adult day health services, an employer support program, comprehensive guardianship services, a financial management program, wraparound services to support children and their families, and a Community Partner program, assisting MassHealth members to address their physical and mental health challenges as well as long-term care needs. FSA employs more than 300 on our team of social service professionals and support staff, and offers services to more than 2,300 individuals of all demographic, ethnic and linguistic groups represented in the community. Our staff embody, recognize and value cultural competence, representing a diversity of backgrounds and language capabilities. More than 14 FSA locations from Brockton to our newest facility in Mashpee house various services geared to the needs of their communities.
