Medical Scribe– Olympia Orthopaedic Associates
Location: Olympia, WA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18 - $26 per hour
(pay is determined based on years of experience)
Summary of benefits:
OOA covers part or all of the cost for Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-term Disability Insurance. Employees are eligible to participate in a 401k plan with company matching. Medical Scribe Summary:
As a Medical Scribe, you will be a vital part of day-to-day clinical operations as you work closely, in office, with the Physicians to provide a high level of patient care. A Medical Scribe plays a key role in facilitating the flow of the clinic by anticipating the Physician’s needs. You will also be responsible for transcribing conversations between the Physician and Patient to accurately and professionally document the Physician’s assessment and treatment plan. This will include being able to quickly adapt to changes in charting requirements based on updated insurance policies, along with reviewing intake paperwork and referral letters to prepare charts for upcoming appointments.
You will be supported in these tasks by the Scribe Lead, who is readily available throughout the day and in bi-weekly check ins. Your lead is committed to your success through a 4-6 week training program with a gradual introduction into the role.
