Become a Member of Our Field Staff:Here at Lakeside Foods, our Field team is the backbone of our field operations, ensuring proper operation of the agriculture department. The Field Scout will perform a variety of day to day tasks with the Ag Department. If you are a creative problem-solver who likes to work outdoors during the summer months we want to talk with you.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Agriculture Manager with a variety of day to day tasks.
  • Aid in seed delivery and GPS mapping of fields.
  • Take stand counts.
  • Routine monitoring of bug traps.
  • Report back to Agriculture Manager with daily findings in the field.
  • Pretest raw product from the field to determine harvest timing.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

 What You’ll Bring:

  • Agriculture experience. (Preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Positive Attitude
