Internship - Wastewater Engineer

Our Hartford, CT headquarters is looking for a civil or environmental engineering intern to work with the Water and Natural Resources group primarily focused on wastewater projects.

Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer program.  We offer in depth work experience on real client projects in a supportive and collaborative environment.  The position is full-time Monday through Friday. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and analysis of wastewater treatment systems
  • Conduct fieldwork and site inspections for wastewater projects
  • Support the preparation of reports, technical documents, and permit applications
  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS for design and analysis
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Pursuing a degree in civil or environmental engineering with an interest in wastewater engineering
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD required
  • Experience with ERSI ArcMap a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment
