Job Description

At Amperity, we’re an AI-first company helping the world’s leading brands create personalized customer experiences that build loyalty and fuel growth. Our AI-powered Customer Data Cloud,  built on multi-patented technology, enables more than 400 global brands, including Alaska Airlines, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and DICK’S Sporting Goods, to turn customer data into a competitive advantage.

We unlock the full value of customer data with simplicity and speed. AI is at the core of our platform and the way we work — from powering advanced identity resolution and predictive analytics to streamlining internal workflows and decision-making. It’s not just a capability; it’s part of our DNA.

Our team thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and transparency, fostering a culture where everyone can contribute, learn, and grow. We welcome talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to help us remove data bottlenecks, accelerate business impact, and push the boundaries of what AI can do for the world’s most innovative companies.

With offices in Seattle, New York City, London, and Melbourne, you’ll join a fast-growing team tackling critical challenges at the intersection of AI, data, and customer experience. Ready to make an impact? Let’s talk.

The Role

We’re looking for an intern to help design, build, and launch new features for the Amperity platform. In this role, you’ll help shape how the platform serves marketing, analytics, and IT professionals. You’ll roll up your sleeves to help build the inner workings of our products as we continue our accelerated growth.  We’re looking for someone who has a passion for making complex distributed systems operate and scale seamlessly while balancing cost efficiency, velocity, and customer experience. Our ideal candidate is eager to gain hands-on experience with how we’re applying AI across the platform and is excited about the opportunity to contribute to new, innovative product ideas in a rapidly evolving space.

Amperity internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 14 consecutive weeks. By applying for this position, you will be considered for an in-person Seattle-based internship in summer 2026.

Interesting Problems

  • Ingesting and cleaning large amounts of data daily and blending it with real-time events
  • Automatically stitching data together across disparate systems by training machine-learning models to build a probabilistic knowledge graph
  • Taking research algorithms and productionizing them for high-scale usage
  • Allowing users to perform complex, real-time queries across an aggregated view of their data
  • Publishing query result data to a diverse set of systems for client usage

About You

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering), Business, or a related discipline, with an expected graduation date between June 2026 and June 2027
  • You are excited about using or learning to use functional languages in a production environment
  • You are excited about software in general, ideally an active hobbyist with projects of your own outside of schoolwork
  • You have experience operating in production software environments, likely at a previous internship
  • Strong desire to learn and investigate new technologies

Our hybrid work model includes three days in the office each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility
