Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work hands-on in the radar development labs with senior radar engineers for a 6 month long internship.

• Experience with Linux and C++ are preferred. 
• Strong math and science skills. 
• Ability to work on small jobs independently, but also ask questions of responsible senior engineers to move the tasks forward.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Education Requirements:

• Must be currently pursuing, or recently obtained, a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
• Must have a GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
• Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive):

• Work hands-on in the radar development labs with senior radar engineers.
• Gain exposure to real-time programming, required for the critical timing of radar processing.

Pay Rate: $32 hourly.
