Responsibilities

You will be part of an R&D team utilizing Agile software development to apply your knowledge and skills acquired from coursework. You will work on the latest in software stacks in networking. You will be exposed to cutting-edge networking technologies and handle complex technical challenges with the support of a world class team.  In this Internship role, you will develop skills related to the following:

• The latest development in networking technologies and high-performance networking stacks
• Become familiar with a wide variety of industry-standard tools
• You will hone your problem-solving skills to keep the project moving forward on a timely basis
• Making decisions that will influence future design for years to come
• Learn and apply machine learning technologies

Qualifications

• Currently in pursuit of a BS/MS/PhD Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge of software development tools and current methodologies.
• Hands-on expertise in designing and building scalable, high-performance
• distributed systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python, with significant experience in a multi-language environment.
• Strong domain knowledge in computer networking (L2-L7 protocols, network architecture) and/or systems design & verification.
• Demonstrated experience in a pathfinding, advanced development, or strategic PoC-focused role.

 California Salary Range MIN $32.77  -  MAX $53.67  Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above. 

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.
