JOB FUNCTION

Interested in Human Resources? Come intern with Riverside’s Global Talent Management (GTM) team!

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of HR. Interns will collaborate with the GTM team (based in New York and Cleveland) and will actively contribute to day-to-day HR operations and strategic initiatives.

As part of our summer internship program, interns are encouraged to listen in on weekly investment committee meetings and attend our weekly speaker series to gain a comprehensive view of Riverside’s functions and collaborative culture.

This internship is ideal for students eager to explore a career in HR while gaining insight into the broader workings of a global private equity firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks the Intern can expect, but are not limited to, include:

  • Recruiting Support: Sit in on candidate interviews and assist with resume reviews, gaining firsthand exposure to Riverside’s hiring process and talent strategies.
  • System Maintenance & Optimization: Help maintain and improve our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), ensuring data accuracy and supporting a seamless candidate experience.
  • HR Data & Reporting: Use Workday to pull reports and respond to ad-hoc data requests from various teams, learning how data drives decision-making across the firm.
  • Internal Communications: Contribute to GTM communications shared across the firm, helping craft messaging that reflects our culture and keeps employees informed.
  • Project & Presentation Support: Build and refine materials in Excel and PowerPoint to support ongoing GTM initiatives and presentations.
  • Cross-Platform Collaboration: Work regularly within both Workday and Greenhouse, developing familiarity with key HR technologies used across the organization.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate students graduating in 2027 or 2028 
  • Strong consideration will be given for candidates that have prior experience in Human Resources or participated in coursework relevant to HR.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with any HRIS, CRM, or ATS preferred (I.e. Workday, Greenhouse etc.)
  • Superior analytical, written & verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic, time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Dates: Start and end dates are negotiable between June 2026 and August 2026. We expect a 10-week commitment from students

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Location: NYC
