FZ is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is focused on serving customers throughout Michigan, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.  

FZ is looking for a Human Resources Intern for the Grand Rapids, MI office to join our 2026 Summer Intern program. Our interns will be responsible for supporting their assigned department on day-to-day duties as well as working on an assigned project for the duration of this 14-week internship. The internship will also include developmental opportunities such as visiting construction jobsites to learn more about FZ’s business, networking opportunities, a training session to familiarize themselves with their own personal workstyle as well as how to work better with others, taking part in National Intern Day and much more!

Areas of focus during the internship:

• Consolidation of training records
• Record retention and organization
• Work within Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and employee records to establish what files should house which documents
• Serve as point of contact for Intern program events
• Exposure and duties related to employee relations, benefits, talent acquisition, and analyst roles 

Key Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and is pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Business with an HR Minor – incoming Junior or Senior status for Fall ’26 semester - preferred
• Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week from May-August ’26 - required
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Possesses good organizational and time management skills
• Personable and has experience working with internal and/or external customers
