Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical/Hardware Engineering Intern to join our team! In this role you will get to design and test code and/or electrical circuits as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing schematics for digital electronic circuits

• Laying out printed circuit boards

• Building prototypes of printed circuit boards

• Soldering electronic components

• Writing VHDL for FPGAs/CPLDs

• Writing C/C++ code to interface directly with hardware in an embedded system

• Test and document electrical functionality of existing designs

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• U.S. Citizenship

• Eligibility for Security Clearance

• Solid working knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuits including: digital logic, resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, and op-amps

• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment including power supplies, multimeters, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• PCB schematic entry and layout experience

• Altium PCB design software

• Experience writing VHDL or Verilog

• Familiarity working in a Linux environment

• Embedded Linux coding experience, including driver development
