What You'll Do:

As a Merchandiser, you play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations and profitability. You’ll be responsible for:

• Placing and reviewing restocking orders using order entry units
• Maintaining stocked shelves and clean, organized aisles
• Building and managing eye-catching promotional displays
• Supporting store resets and new item placement
• Acting as a key point of contact for our products at Woodman’s
• Delivering top-notch customer service and fielding in-store inquiries
• Participating in annual food shows and maintaining supplier deals

Job Summary:

Provides support for the Woodman’s stores by placing orders, stocking, building and maintaining promotional displays, new item placement and other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete restocking orders using order entry units
• Stock shelves with general merchandise
• Maintain promotional displays
• New item placement
• Help in store resets
• Tear down general merchandise pallets
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of grocery store operations
• Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, fax and order units
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Provide a high level of energy to the position
• Ability to stay extremely organized
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Education and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills.
