Roaring Fork Senior Living is Glenwood Spring’s premiere senior living community, and we are looking for an outgoing Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. You will be working closely with the program director to plan, organize, and direct quality activities for our Assisted Living and memory care residents that meet their recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual and social needs. Our goal is to ensure that we offer enough variety in our activities to meet the needs of every resident. This is a full time position, working Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, conducting, and evaluating the Independent Living life enrichment program
• Participate in the development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments
• Invite and encourage residents to attend and participate in daily activities
• Conduct weekend activities
• Involve the resident/family in planning activities that meet the goals and objectives of the resident
• Provide transportation to residents on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

• 1 year experience or training preferred providing life enrichment activities preferred
• Experience working with the senior population preferred
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• A valid Driver’s License
• Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay:

$20.50 - $21.50 an hour based on experience
