We are hiring a Machinery Inside Sales Representative for the Conroe area market to focus on the sale of Mustang Cat's machinery sales offerings to develop customer-driven solutions utilizing Mustang's unique abilities as a Caterpillar authorized dealer.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you assist walk-in retail customers looking to purchase equipment, as well as develop and qualify leads for heavy equipment and/or parts and services sales.

Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities Include:

  • Represent Mustang as industry leader and promote key differentiators to best serve our customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Meet and exceed strategic sales goals
  • Establish new customer accounts
  • Respond quickly to leads and qualify customers
  • Monitor competitive activity and changes in local market
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Meet set requirements for continued professional development
Inside Sales Representative Requirements:
  • College degree in Business, Management, Technical, or other related field
  • Will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of educational requirements
  • Knowledge of Cat equipment 
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Professional communication skills: verbal, written, phone, email, in-person
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to "think on your feet"
  • Strong desire to win
  • Negotiation experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
