What is the Medical Assistant Trainee Program?

This is a six-week, full-time, paid training program designed for individuals with no prior MA experience. Open to both internal and external candidates, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes:

· Classroom instruction

· Hands-on clinical training

· Simulation labs

· EPIC training

· CPR certification

· Shadowing and precepting

· SLPG Academy experience

Program Training

· Paid training at $16/hour

· Hands-on experience with patients

· Learn anatomy and medical terminology

· Practice taking vital signs and EKGs

· Administer immunizations and injections

· Full-time placement opportunities across 300+ outpatient locations

· Mostly weekday, daytime shifts

· Shadow healthcare professionals

· Pay increase eligibility upon successful completion
