Job Description

CSR II

Join our team as a Contact Center Agent to provide customer service-oriented support to inquiries regarding the Government Contracting and Business Development (GCBD) Certification Program for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). 

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.  You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for CSR II: $18.74 - $20 per hour 

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Beneficiary CSR II Responsibilities Include: 

  • Provide support of the GCBD certification programs using SBA provided programs:

    • Amazon Connect

    • Microsoft Outlook,

    • Internal CRM to Document contacts 

  • Maintain professional communication with all inbound calls and emails.

  • Take professional system notes for all inbound calls and emails in the GCBD call center system of record.

  • Escalate to contact center supervisors any difficult customer issues that cannot be resolved at the CSR level.

  • Have a thorough knowledge of all GCBD Certification Instructions, Guides & Process Materials (IGPM’s), pertinent regulations and statutes, certification processes and requirements necessary to answer incoming contact inquiries as identified (training provided).

  • Performs other job related duties as assigned. 

CSR II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

  • High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 months relevant experience in customer service

  • Proficiency with phone systems, computers, MS Windows, MS Office, tracking system
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
