Responsibilities for the Trainer include but are not limited to:
•Assist with employee orientation for new team members
•Organize and prepare orientation materials and related activities
•Responsible for daily contact with all new hires to answer any questions or concerns they may have
•Prepare materials required to track training and qualification of new team members
•Will work closely with department supervisors and department managers to ensure that they are being trained properly and for effective communication
•Conduct follow-up retraining or refresher training where required or as recommended by department management
•Conducts on the job training such as but not limited to:
oKnife sharpening
oProper equipment dress and care
oHands on performing specific jobs
oTeach and coach new employees in their assigned jobs
•Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required
•Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and situations
•Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
•Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
•Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
•Bilingual in Spanish and English language preferred.
