Are you looking for an opportunity to work with an inviting culture and a great mission? Our custodial team is looking for a candidate to join our great leadership team. The position will be responsible for cleaning the Des Moines Federal Courthouse using custodial equipment and cleaning materials. 
 
Custodians are responsible for monitoring supply levels and will work with their supervisor to report any facility needs. They will clean the location where they are assigned to with the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment, including floors, offices, bathrooms, windows, etc., as needed. This position can also include lawn care such as mowing and will include snow removal as necessary.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use all custodial equipment properly and in a safe and efficient manner. 
• Check level of all supplies daily and notify supervisor in time to reorder. 
• Clean assigned areas thoroughly following Scope of Work guidelines and maintain high quality. 
• Report any malfunctions to supervisor. 
• Report any supply shortages to supervisor. 
• Complete snow removal, mowing

Qualifications

The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 12:00-8:30PM The starting wage for the Custodian position is $17.75 per hour plus an additional $4.93 per hour for a health and welfare stipend for a total of $22.68 per hour.
