Overview:

The Assistant Demand Planner will assist the Demand Planning Manager and the Planning team with multiple aspects of demand planning to enhance profitability for a department. 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Assist with the reconciliation of buy plans to customer orders and be part of meetings with the Sourcing team to ensure all customer orders are placed
  • Assist with development of product category goals to create seasonal buy plans that tie back to wholesale financial goals
  • Assist with the consolidation of demand for the total wholesale channel and partner with Production to ensure that receipt needs for wholesale channel deliveries are consistently met
  • Assist in maintaining and actualizing all levels of sales analysis
  • Maintain data entry projections for replenishment styles and assist in analyze quarterly projections for replenishment styles    
  • Update/maintain all sku data, including costs and all value added services and size scale by customer for replenishment    
  • Assist in the management of inventory through effective historical sales analysis
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Finance or related field
  • Prior Internship and/or related experience in planning and analysis required
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Must be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
