Position Summary
May Management Services is seeking a reliable and hands-on Full-Time Maintenance Person to support the upkeep and appearance of our managed communities in the Palm Coast area. The ideal candidate will have broad general maintenance experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing quality service in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work.
• Conduct regular inspections of community common areas, amenities, and equipment to identify issues and maintenance needs.
• Porter duties including trash pick-up and routine property walks.
• Assist with landscaping and exterior maintenance tasks, including light tree trimming, power washing, and debris removal.
• Maintain and repair community facilities such as pools, clubhouses, and playgrounds.
• Respond promptly to service requests and work orders as assigned.
• Identify and report safety hazards or urgent maintenance issues to management.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, including proper care of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Communicate professionally with residents, HOA board members, and vendors as needed.

Requirements

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Full-Time; flexible hours based on community needs (some weekends may be required).
• Compensation: Range of $18-$20 Hourly based on YOE.
