We are looking for an Summer Intern to work with our Property Team.  This will be a hybrid role based in New York, NY.

We are looking for a Student Intern to provide data entry and clerical support to the Property team in New York.

The Impact You Will Have  

Reporting to the Senior Underwriting Team Leader - Northeast Zone, you will provide data entry and clerical support functions for the Property Team

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

• Pull data from various sources and enter into excel; run reports in order to analyze the department book’s performance and monitor progress. 

• Scan and save file documentation retrieved from boxes to appropriate accounts. 

• Create presentations for the department which detail features, advantages and benefits of new products. 

• Contribute to high-impact, strategic initiatives that drive business outcomes, working collaborative with cross-functional teams. 

• Participate in meaningful projects that shape the organization’s future, with opportunities to develop leadership skills while working alongside experienced team members.   

• Assist with Admin tasks as required. 

What You’ll Bring to the Role: 

• Current University / College student 

• Basic office related work experience 

• Intermediate Excel and Word skills 

• Strong aptitude for numbers 

• Good written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making 

The hourly pay for this role is $25.00 (depends on location). The hourly pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards. 

Further Information: 

• Duration at least 6 months (preferably longer)  

• Working hours: 38 hours/week or 20 hours/week  

• Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.  

Additional Company Details: The company offers a pay rate of $24 per hour for this internship. This is a Full time 10 week Summer Internship which will begin in early June 2023.
