Purpose

Support field installations, assist with basic testing and cabling, and a foundational knowledge in data center networking.

Responsibilities

• Pull, label, and route copper and fiber optic cable.
• Assist with terminations, rack prep, and test setups.
• Support safe handling of splicing tools and network hardware.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and accurate labeling.
• Basic network troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Tools:

• Tools: screwdriver (regular and Phillips), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (needle nose and channel locks), hammer, cable stripper, flashlight, and gloves.
• Punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, tone set, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, and Krone/3M/BIX.

Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year of experience in telecom, construction, or low-voltage work.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions in active environments.
• Basic understanding of fiber types and cable color codes is a plus.

Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
