• Care Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year
• 1.0 FTE (Full time + benefits)
• Flexible shift options available including weekends
• Required to work 1 Summer Holiday and 1 Winter Holiday
• No call requirements
• Work with experienced staff
• No appointments necessary
• Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injures
• Excellent assessment skills
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Provide high quality care to all ages
• Offer select diagnostic tests
• Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• 1-2 years of Family Medicine or Urgent care experience, as an advanced practitioner; If new grad, must have ER or Urgent Care experience, as a nurse
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
