Now Hiring: Evaporator Dryer Operator | 3rd Shift

Shift/Schedule:  3rd shift 6:00 PM start 

Pay: Base + Shift Differential = $22.50/hour (+ based on experience)

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor and record critical process system parameters to ensure operational control.
  • Prepare product batches according to exact specifications.
  • Conduct in-process tests such as Brix, pH, and temperature.
  • Operate processing equipment in accordance with scheduled protocols.
  • Monitor chart recorders and take immediate corrective action when deviations occur.
  • Perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) procedures on mix tanks, product lines, silos, and other process equipment.
  • Track and verify all incoming ingredients for production.
  • Maintain high quality and food safety standards in alignment with GMP and GFSI requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to share updates, concerns, and ensure seamless shift transitions.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked to established standards.
  • Maintain working knowledge of system mechanics including valves, pumps, and pipe swings.
  • Execute basic maintenance tasks and assist in larger repairs or equipment changeovers.
  • Perform assigned work orders and contribute to continuous improvement of the process.
  • Support safety initiatives and report any hazards or concerns promptly.
  • Assist in other operational areas as needed.

Requirements

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with processing equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
