We are currently hiring a Warehouse Checker for the first shift at our Romeoville, IL, distribution center. The pay rate is $19.00 /hour. The hours for the first Shift are Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime.

Job Description

This position is responsible for the quality control process to include building pallets, packing, staging goods for outbound shipment. In this role, you will be certified to use a RF- scanner to complete the pick process. Generally, this position will utilize manual or electric pallet jack and may be certified to operate material handling equipment. 


Principle Responsibilities

  • Building / auditing sturdy, safe pallets of product that will arrive to our customers undamaged
  • Adhere to preferred methods for outbound shipments
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment; perform housekeeping duties throughout shift

Qualifications

  • Ability to Check 50 events per hour regular checking &/or 15 events per hour for error adjustment
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds
  • Must be detail-oriented
